Melbourne City Tour and Markham Reserve Playground

We were glad to have my cousin and her family in Melbourne. We were blessed to get to stay in my aunty's house throughout the 9 days. Not only that, I am so thankful that my cousin actually helped me a lot in planning places to visit.

We arrived at Melbourne on 20th November. We landed in the morning, weather was 14C. We settle in and rested at aunty house, reunion with family. We have a family dinner at a restaurant and went for  grocery shopping after that. That was all about for the first day.

21st november
It was a fine day. Weather was good. We took metro train with my cousin bringing us around the city. Kids  love the Christmas windows, Santaland at Myers which is large department store, and the magic Christmas tree at David jones department store. Both are on Bourke street mall.

Morning walk at the Yarra River bank.

Toss the coin and make a wish at the National Gallery of Victoria

These white bins look familiar? These are Ikea bins :)

Dinosaur! Kids were excited to see the dino. It was a  shooting nearby the art gallery.

animated Christmas Windows display at Myer

Kids love the Christmas windows.

This year theme 'Gingerbread Friends'.

head up to level 6 to Santaland at Myer and visit Santa

ride the locomotive train

We also took the city circle tram touring around the city. In the evening, we went to the playground nearby the neighbourhood. The playground is just within walking distance from my aunty house.

Markham Reserve Playground. It is a big playground and fully fenced. The kids had lots of fun in the playground.

There is a  lot more to blog about our Melbourne family trip :)
