Cuti-Cuti Malaysia- Pangkor Island

My only brother get married  in May. My sister in law is from Setiawan, Perak, so we went there to attend the wedding dinner. We took the opportunity to visit Pangkor Island too.

We went to the famous Tua Pek Kong Temple (大伯公庙) after the wedding dinner. It is a famous attraction in Setiawan.

I heard it is famous for making people strike lottery, get pregnant and etc.

Heng Heng likes to take picture with the zodiac animals statue

All the giant statues.

The next day we were all get excited for Pangkor Island :) My brother and SIL sent us to the jetty in Lumut.

The ferry tickets. RM10 for adults and RM5 for children.

So lucky to see rainbow

Mummy and Yan Yan

The kids' first ferry ride. They were happy.

Upon arrival, there is some car and van rental people looking for sale.

Taxi van in pink color . We rent the van with driver for half day Island tour. The charge is around RM150

First stop was Dutch Fort or it is called Kota Belanda. The drizzling rain made us lazy to get down from the car actually. Fu Lin Gong Temple

Next stop was Fu Lin Gong Temple. There is a mini great wall here.

We also stopped a stall to buy hats because of the drizzling rain. The driver also bring us to a local Satay factory. We bought some sea products there.
Later the driver drop us at a beach ( forgot the name). There is a Kuan Yin Temple beside the beach. We let the kids played at the beach for more than one hour before we called the driver to pick us.

It was still light rain drizzling but all the kids could not resist playing on the beach.

That is all about our day trip to Pangkor Island. We went back to Setiawan to have late lunch with my brother and SIL. We shopped for more sea products before heading back to Kuala Lumpur.

The fare for the ferry ride is very reasonable.
