Two Unwell Kids

It started from Heng Heng with running nose on last Saturday and he then went on to cough so badly in the Sunday midnight. He was wheezing so I gave him the Ventolin syrup but his condition wasn't getting better. We went to see doctor on Monday and he got the nebulizer. Yan Yan also got bite from the same nasty bugs but mild one. Doctor prescribed a cough med and a cold med for Yan Yan. For Heng Heng, he got cough med, cold med, phlegm med.

I am wondering if the weather that make kids sick easily??????

I am worrying they might easily lose weight when they are sick!!!!!

Curious Kids Need to be Tough Inside

I still remember vividly the experience of my two kids admitted in the hospital few months ago. The 3 days 2 nights stay in the hospital was horrible. How sad for a mother to see her own kids laying on the hospital ward, attacked by nasty virus, bad germs and bacteria. I am sure none of a single mummy out there wants to see their kids in pain, suffer from sickness. In Chinese, there is a quote we call it as ' pain in your body but hurt in my heart' . From the discharge day onwards, I become very careful about everything around my kids, to make sure the bad experience not to happen again.

Every now and then, I need to make sure my two kids are always growing in a good health. In order to ensure they are protected, it is important to know the ways to boost their immune system.

Here are the few things that help to boost my kids' immune system.

1. Bedtime Needs To Be Strictly Enforced

Children need more sleep than adults. I strongly make sure they get at least eight to ten hours sleep each night; 2 hours nap in day time. Lack of sleep helps to break down the immune system.

Make Healthy Meals That My Children Actually Will Like

This can be very challenging because I have a picky eater ( But on the other hand, I don't let my children dictate to me what they'll eat every day)
Healthy meals are the meals that contain a blend of nutrients, fruits and vegetables.

3. Exercise and Play!

Making sure my children get plenty of exercise is one of my daily routine; this is to help to boost their immune system. I love to bring them outside to play at the designated play ground or at least play at home ( if happen it is a rainy day)

4. More Water, fluids

Toxins build up and can weaken immunity when there's not enough water in the diet. So I always making sure both my kids take enough amount of water everyday.

5. Try A Dietary Supplement

-It's hard for me to do all of these things all of the time, so adding a dietary supplement provides a bit of insurance, hehe.

The supplement here included the serving of Friso Gold formula, backed with Frisoshield with P2 Dual System.

Frisoshield ™ with P2 Dual System™ is a combination of key nutrients together with prebiotics and healthy live bacteria.

Because of the two curious kids I have here, I need to make sure they need to be tough inside in order to maximize their ability in learning and exploring.

I have upload some cute pictures on how my two angels fight off the bacteria and germs with the help of healthy live bacteria from Friso Gold! Let's see how they do it!

Heng Heng and Yan Yan fight against the bad germs and bacteria so they could exploring around with their curiosity.

Heng Heng and Yan Yan fight away all the bad germs and bacteria so they could learn with full potential.

How I wish I could get the invitation for Nuffnang Friso Gold Family Day Out.
Can't wait to see how my two curious angels go crazily at Nuffnang Friso Gold Family Day Out @ Kizsports & Gym. It will be great if we can WIN the grand prize of 3 days 2 nights trip to Disneyland Hong Kong!

Wean off the Pacifier

Both Yan Yan and Heng Heng have officially wean off their pacifiers! Yeah, I could not believe weaning off their pacifiers can be so easy. The above photo is the last photo I taken for Yan Yan and Heng Heng attaching the pacifiers :P

Will update a detail post about this soon for my own remembrance. Now I am not in a good mood to blog as they both are down with flu since yesterday and today they have started coughing *kek sum*

Bidazzled, Great Deals Are Awaiting For You

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love to browse online auction market whenever I am free. I am sure most people who have made the leap to online auction swear that it is hassle free way to shop. More ever you may get to save up your money when you bid win the items at unbelievably cheap price. I really have to learn every trick in the trade to make the most of my money in this harsh economic uncertainty.

I have just got to know a new online auction market which launched in early November. Lately I am busy like a bee checking out the great offer from Bidazzled , redefining the online auction market by offering savings of up to 90% on name brand merchandise all while funding a charity.

Bidazzled is commonly called Penny Auctions or Pay-Per-Bid auction sites, bids are purchased in advance and then used to bid on merchandise. The price increases a few cents with each bid placed and a few seconds are added to the countdown clock to give others a chance to bid. The auction ends when no other bids are placed. So if a new laptop ends at just a dollar, then you win the laptop for a dollar! Apart of that, what I like about Bidazzled is that it was designed and created to support a charity for lung cancer (The Ruch Foundation: ).

Here are more great points about

- Auction winners usually save over 80% off retail.
- Nobody Loses: If you don't win, you receive up to 50 Bonus Bids as a thank you for participating.
-You can purchase the auction item less the investment you had in the auction.
-If you win, Bidazzled typically make an offer to buy the item back for either: cash (paypal or check), cash and bids or bids.

If you are interested in this online auction market, please register now and you will get 5 free bonus bids. In their first month, there have been 2 winners of Nintendo Wii's who have won with just their 5 free bids!

Bidazzled offers exclusively 15 additional bids for you if you enter this code on the registration page and there is no obligation or cost of any kind. This offer is valid until 15th January.

Heng Heng Meets Santa

Finally I brought Heng Heng to meet Santa at Mid Valley before the Christmas season is over :P
Basically I feel bad if only Yan Yan gets the chance to meet Santa and takes photo with Santa.

Happened yesterday I need to go Jusco Mid Valley to buy some stuff to cook spaghetti for tonight Christmas eve party, so I brought along Heng Heng with me. Also called Judy to see if she wants to go Mid Valley 'lepak'.

It is not easy to bring my son going out with only myself to handle him. He is super naughty ! We reached there about 12 noon. Most of the parking space in MV was full so we got to park the car at The Garden and walked to MV. Taken some pics while we were in The Garden.

Heng Heng first time hanging out with Terry. I think Terry is more use to be with Yan Yan more than Heng Heng?

He is forever no tiring running here and there.

It is not easy to bring my son going out with only myself to handle him. He is super naughty ! Whenever I bring him going out to the malls, I for sure can not shop for anything. My eyes just need to be kept on him. He does not like to be placed in the stroller, so I gets him wearing the safety harness. But I still prefer to carry him rather then letting him walks or runs wildly in the malls.

Lucky we were in time to meet Santa at 12.30 noon. More lucky is there were some sweets and chocolates provided so Heng Heng gets something occupied him while we were queueing to take photo. Happy him seeing so many sweets, he demanded to eat and eat and eat! With something in his mouth, he already happy! When it was our turn to go on the stage, he behaved very well. When he first saw the Santa, he gets shocks a bit, but I still carry him and we both sat beside Santa and successfully taken the photo with Santa :P
Before we left for lunch and shopping for groceries, Santa handed him a small gift and a balloon.

Christmas Gathering with Mummy Bloggers

A great Christmas gathering has been held among 4 mummy bloggers and their lovely kids on 17-12- 2009 at Mid Valley Megamall. They are none other than Judy, Mummy Gwen, Cynthia and me.

We were in Kenny Rogers for lunch before we proceed for photo session with Santa. For my impatient girl, she just couldn't wait to meet Santa. So she can't sit still during lunch. I don't know what is wrong with her, she shows over 'friendly' when she met Gwen. I hope Gwen wouldn't get scared of Yan Yan. Yan Yan is like this , when others approaching her or being too friendly with her, she will get frighten, shy and refuse to talk to them.

In fact, I know my daughter very well, she is such an impatient girl. That is why I only 'inform' her about the gathering a day before that. I told her we are going to meet some friends, Terry Kor Kor, new friend Gwen and a baby girl Breanna. She gets excited already and keep saying 'oh my Gwen', 'I love Gwen' etc. I told her we are gong to meet Santa as well. She gets more and more excited. She was impatient to meet all of them, keep asking me when are we going!

12.30 noon, we were at the Center Court for our Photo Session With Santa. Other mummies were at the back of the stage to line up for the photo shooting while me and Yan Yan went for buying the coupons for photo shoots. The moment we went to get back to the queue, Santa already on the stage. Yan Yan was so excited about it, shouting loudly :" Santa Claus, Ho Ho Ho, Ho Ho Ho!!!!!!!!!!

This was how Yan Yan react when she saw Santa from far.

Yan Yan was putting on the cloak and hat before meeting the Santa for photo session.

Yan Yan sat on Santa's lap. She was not afraid at all :P This might be because she isn't first time meet the Santa. We had brought her to meet Santa every year since she was born. After taking the photo, guess what she told me? She said to me that Santa is wearing glasses. Haha, she even dare to take a closer look at Santa.

Yan Yan and Gwen got a present each from Santa after taking the photo. The photo session costs RM10, which we have got a ballon, a present and a photo.

Little Breanna too got her photo session with Santa. Only Terry boy was shy to take photo with Santa. Maybe he just like to take pic with all girls. :P

All the kids were happy playing with ballons.

Next we went to Boulevard Hotel for the gifts exchange. Yan Yan was too ' kan cheong' with all the presents that received.

The kids have fun at Jusco amusement centre too. Overall we had a great time meeting with all 3 mummies and their kids. Breanna is the youngest among the kids but she was the one with very well behave! Gwen is too cute with her 'S' pose! Terry is the thorn among the roses, a quiet but smart boy! Terry boy, aunty Bee Moon hope you will get ready to take pic with Santa next year!

We headed home after spent a few hours at the mall. Yan Yan can't wait to unwrap all her presents. She was happy with all the presents and greeting cards that she received. She was generous enough to give one of her gift to Di Di. But Di Di was more interested with the ballon. :P

Me too got a yummy homemade cake from Cynthia and a lovely gift from Mummy Gwen. Thanks so much!

*Sorry Di Di for not bringing you along because mummy really can not handle 2 kids at the same all by myself*

Enfa A+ Smart Camp @ 1Utama

Both me and hubby brought the kids to Enfa A+ Smart Camp at One Utama last week. This was the first time both Yan Yan and Heng Heng took part in Enfa Smart Camp though they are on Enfa range formula since born. There were 5 smart quests for the kids. Both were given a smart quest passport before they proceed for the quests. These 5 quests are :

1. Powerup with DHA
They need to choose 3 food that they like to eat and one of the consultant then shared the food DHA information with us.

2. Mission Triple Protection Guard
Using the multimedia to explore the kids with the triple protection guard nutrients.

3. Spell it big
They need to fix the things available in the park with letter blocks.

4. Beat it
They were playing at the musical instruments so to get explore with sounds.

5. Gold around the world
They get to golf around some famous landmark in the world! Both the kids like this game so much and did not want to leave the place :P

Yeah, mission accomplished! They each got a EnfaA+ smart starter kit. Needless to say, they both enjoy this smart camp very much. I did not buy the enfa formula from the camp as it was not cheap compare to what I can get from Chinese med shop. But what is good is you will get FREE My first Oxford Dictionary there with each purchase of RM150. We already got this dictionary on our previous purchase at Mid Valley which they had the Enfa Children Day promotion.

The starter kit with lots of goodies.

Also got the chance to check out the Christmas decor in One Utama. Not taken much pictures. We had our dinner a little early at Kenny Rogers. We headed back home at about 7pm. Both the kids get so tired after spent the whole day in One Utama. They didn't take their nap so end up sleeping in the car while on the way back home.

P/s : this would be the last pic for Yan Yan tagging with her pacifier because she is officially wean off her paci already! Just a week time after taking this pic and now she already part away her paci! Will blog about it soon! :P

Pay Pal PowerUp Party ! Love it !

Me and my hub went for the PayPal’s PowerUp Party held on last Friday, December 11th at NeoRestaurant and Luxe Lounge. It is maximum for 2 persons per invitation. So I invited my hub to go with me and of course it is good to have my hub to accompany me :)

Upon arrival, we were asked to register ourselves, dropped name cards as well for ' Price is Right' contest. We were given passport holders with game vouchers in it.

Registration counter

Okay, these are the stuff inside the passport holder, a lucky draw number, 3 games vouchers which are grab a grand game, wheel of fortune game, deal or no deal game and an event schedule.

The stage

Bar area

Our first drinks

The kitchen

The food

After all, before the event is officially start, we enjoyed the food and music, free flow drinks and games. The food served are all in bite size and tasting spoon food, feeding the crowd bite by bite. We were okay for it, but we seen some people were complaining about the food wasn't enough to fill up the tummy.

Wheel of fortune game, spin and see what you would get! My hub get to spin RM10 cash. As for me, I only manage to get a Pay Pal folder.

Next game, Grab a grand! I like this game. You are given 3 times to grab the flying 'money' in the box. There are RM1, RM5, RM10, and RM50! I have forgot how much we both have grab but what I know is I grabbed a piece of RM50 on my first attempt! Yippie!

Last game, deal or no deal, use your head, or your heart. There are six envelope to displayed on the stand. all the envelopes were written a price in it, which are RM1, RM5, RM10, RM20, RM50 and RM100. We need to choose 3 envelopes, first envelope will be kept by the staff and the other two envelopes were to reveal. So next the staff will see what is the price for the first envelope and then offer a price for you too, might be lower or higher than what is in the envelope. With the two revealed envelope, we could know if it is worth to accept his offer or choose to accept the price in the first envelope we chose. I was given 2 more vouchers on this game from my friend that coincidentally met in the event. So me and my hub played 2 rounds each on this game. All the money we have won from all 3 games should be around RM250. The money will only transfer to my Pay Pal account within a couple of weeks.

Other than games, there were something happening on the stage, which were the price is right contest (lucky contestant get to guess the price on the prizes) , Pay Pal merchant Award ceremony and lucky draw for Pay Pal Money Briefcase which is RM10000 in prize. Too bad we are not one of the lucky winner.

Before we left the event, we were given door gifts.

The gift box comes with a Pay pal T shirt and USB set. As what Pay Pal has promised, You won't leave empty-handed!!!
